Tony Clark, Pastor
I first learned to love God’s Creation in the beautiful Appalachian foothills of Southeastern Ohio, where I grew up and went to church camp. My love for God’s creation and a desire to learn how it was put together led me to study microbiology and then veterinary medicine at the Ohio State University, and then to practice veterinary medicine in several Mid-Western states. Following my mother’s death in 2000, a year of personal discernment, and the events of September 11, 2001, I found myself called to ministry and seminary at Eden Theological Seminary http://www.eden.edu/ in St. Louis, Missouri. After completing an intensive year-long chaplain training program at the St. Louis VA Medical Center, my ministry has been with hospice patients in suburban St. Louis, middle school youth in Duluth, Minnesota, and with two merging churches in Minneapolis. In 2010, I was called as the senior minister at Arlington Community Church United Church of Christ, and my partner Darrell and I moved to Kensington.
